    Hey all,

I'm probably coming back to Ireland for a holiday (probably in Oct) after a few years in Australia. I've been DJ'ing and running clubs (Mostly Goth/EBM/Industrial & Indie/Rock/Punk) over here for that last 2 years.
I'd love to do a bit of DJing when I get home, but I have no idea whats out there at the moment or who to get in ouch with. If anyone who knows where I might start, the info would be appreciated.

    Cheers. :D

Well if ever I come home for good, I will surely do that. Not easily done on a 2 week vacation :P

I just moved to Dublin, so if you play there, say where. I want to hear some of that Goth/EBM/Industrial & Indie/Rock/Punk around here and can't say I've found anywhere (except for Bruxelles) that plays it, although I'm told Whelans can be good.

Outside Dublin, try the Limelight in Belfast or the FUBAR in Letterkenny.

According to MCD's site there's a new club starting in the Ambassador called Subculture. It looks like it's going to cater for this sort of music but more than likely it'll be pants.

Thats funny, there WAS a club in Melbourne called Subculture, shut-down a couple of years ago.

    Whats Dominion like?

Is there anywhere else in Dublin that plays this type of music?

It can depend, they've got a revolving-door policy on DJ's, but on a good day, you'd expect to hear anything like Apoptygma Berzerk, Nick Cave, Fields Of The Nephilim, Skinny Puppy/ohGr, Nine Inch Nails, Sisters Of Mercy, Pop Will Eat Itself, Switchblade Symphony... You get the idea?
