    It has to be remembered, though, that while it may be the world's largest, its' output is a mere 5MW.

    They'll definitely a better cost ratio before it becomes viable...but then again, helping that was one of the aims of this project in the first place I see.

    Neat. Hope it works out for them.

    Compared to the 5MW from the above how about an off the shelf nuclear reactor
    A version producing 100 megawatts would be 15 metres tall, three metres in diameter and weigh 500 tonnes.

    There are hundreds of them in use on ships, submarines and satellites. Generally, without the hassle associated with their big brothers.

    Those reactors are small, are they not?

    And, since we're on the topic... it wouldn't comfort me at night to know that the potential for the Kursk-II was out there, except this time, the reactor leaks !
