Just wondering does anyone know any internships for programmers ?
What advice would give to a Sofware Engineering graduate,
how to get started in the industry?
    Cv layout ? etc

Go to your local FAS place, and ask them where the local place for doing A++ course's in is. If your unemployed, FAS will pay your fee's, but if not, it'll cost about €200 to do the exams.
Or just look around @ your local IT's/PLC's. A++'s are just extra qualifications.

I wouldn't be able to give you any advice, but get a job, a short term one, and go from there. If you got good grades, email your CV to IBM, Intel, HP, etc, and say you'd like to work in programming.

As the GOD once said to the guy who wanted to win the lotto; "meet me half way and buy a ticket".

If you don't try, you won't gain.
