Hi just looking for some quick help.

Have a bit of an ear ache at the moment, feels like every so often someone is shoving a knitting needle into my ear. When i dont have that piercing pain in my ear it feels like my ear has been punched, whole ear is very sore and impossible touch, its so sore that it makes moving my jaw very painful.

Just wondering is there anything i can get from a pharmacy to give a little relief, or has anyone got a good way to stop the pain ?

(Please dont recommend i see a doctor, to be quiet honest id have to be dieing to go, and even then i dont know if id bother)

Go talk to your pharmacist? I'd turn there before I'd ask random people on the internet.

yes for instance i suggest you pour hot soup in your ear while singing "wooooooo wooooooo woooooo" which sounds weird but has been poven to work and I swear by it.

ear infection or dental problem (had a long posting typed but lost it).

DIY: clear the tube from nose to ear with something like Sudofed. Put anestetic drops onto the ear drum.

Danger: burst ear drum, damage to inner ear.

go see a doctor (or possibly dentist).
