i posted once or twice here about good stuff to see in Australia, have a search if you want.
Bangkok is very interesting for a day or two but be prepared for some friendly scam artists. if you want to spend some more time in Thailand you could do the usual tourist thing of Chaing Mai , and Ko Samui or Ko Tau for diving (didnt do this myself but heard good reports).
why singapore? any reports i've heard say it's expensive and a police state.
Perth can be a bit dead but make sure you go to Fremantle (beach suburb). Unless you have relations/friends or really want to go there I would spend some time in Brisbane instead. I really liked Brissie as did most people I talked to.

Toronto is an underrated city, comes alive at night.Take a one day bus tour to niagara falls. Go to Montreal if you can, it's even better.

Search for a couple of threads on NZ which were doing the rounds about two months ago.

Loads of good advice on them.

    In Singapore, check out:
    http://www.asiahotels.com/hotelinfo/Keong_Saik_Hotel/

Stayed there in April (I think!) 2003 at the height of the SARS 'epidemic' (after 5 days in Hong Kong, face-mask city!) - nice hotel and cheap too. Singapore is nice, but hot and humid. Visit the Night Safari, and go to Ruffles and have a Singapore Sling at the Long Bar. If feeling amazingly safe at all times day or night and a beautiful, clean city are consequences of the police state, bring it on to Dublin :) We certainly could do with some public canings.

I lived in San Diego for a while a few years ago - as it towards the end of your trip I would recommend you go out in style and stay at the Wyndham - bad ass hotel, on the main street of the city. Stayed there earlier this year actually. Visit the Wild Animal Safari Park and/or San Diego Zoo, best in the world. Go out in the Gaslamp Quarter and see the beautiful girls. Then cry when boarding the flight home...you won't see them again for a while :( Wish they all could be Californian girls!
