    Hey,

Just wondering what rating psu I should use with a p4 3.0Ghz and an ATI 9800 pro? (in the process of upgrading)

I will also be running 2 hdd's, a dvd drive and a cdrw drive.

Being safe 370/380w of a decent brand (and thats very important)...... if you get a crappy make then its dodgy no matter what the rating.

Antec, Fortron (350w fortron would be fine), be-quiet, enermax, thermaltake, Zalman, Tagan........etc are the good ones. have a look in the tweaking sticky for more info.

As usual, I will take this opportunity to knock Qtec.

If it says qtec on it, throw it in the bin.

My signature has the specs. The rails are steady idle and only a slight variation under load in the 12V line.
