Hi guys, I have just come through an awlful couple of weeks with my PC and Laptop. In the end I had so many virus's and missing files I had to do a couple of full formats. But anyway, I purchased the above product a few months back and installed it on my PC and Laptop. Not knowing that i only had a certain number of activations, when I reinstalled it on my PC today I got an activation failed message. It said I had exceeded the amount of activations for this licence number.

Has anyone any ideas as to what I can do now. I dont want to have to go out and buy this product again.

Windows XP is like this as well in that you can only install it so many times. I suggest you email or ring the makers (Symantic) and explain the situation.
