Blitzkrieg BH dissapointment

    I bought Blitzkrieg Burning horizons yeaterday and was looking forward to playing it as I was quite a fan of Sudden Strike. So I got home, installed it, and went to play it.........

    All I got was a message that it was "unable to authenticate original disc within time limit". After several tries and a few re-installs I had become quite P'ed off. So I checked out their tech support on their fourms, turns out that it is unable to authenticate the original disc if you are using a dvd writer!!

    What a jip, would it not be simple to display this on the packaging instead of wasting customers time.

    So, does anybody else know of any games like this??

    You can use a NO-CD crack. You might not be able to use online play tho.

    It probably uses Starf*ck3 protection, it has stupid problems like this, its anti piracy which is so strict some people cant even play it with the real CD, not only that but mostg ames with it have been cracked, simply because, they say 'this is unhackable', then hackers come along 'no it isnt', and then its only a matter of time, hopefully soon enough Starforce3 will stop being used, as it buggers up so many people who do actually buy the game, I had endless trouble getting 'Soldiers Heroes of WW2' installed, in the end I actually had to get the noCD hack because it wouldnt let me use the CD for it, which did rather suck.

    you should be able to get a workaround out there to get around the problem, I'm sure lots of others had the same. Fire an email off to the support address for the game and complain. also if you are in the shop again, complain there too.
