    This is a humbling experience, Avon Lucas making us all feel like beginners. If you have the bandwidth to download 10mb then definitely check this out .

    He's just a misguided guitar player underneath :P

    Not a bad player. Wasn't a huge fan of the tone from the fretless bass though.

    There are bruises on my ass from him kicking it so hard :(

    The tone from those basses is immense, it's the in-thing among post-Jaco bassists to use only the bridge pickup for fretless tone, and you're hearing it through a video camera mic too...

    Aye, true about the mic. The first bass sounded lovely but I just didn't like the tone of the fretless. How he played it so fast and accurately, I'll never know. Him jamming with the guitarists was cool. God Bless NAMM!!!

    Yeah, the guy's technique is immaculate, speed and precision in spades. I'm sooooo depressed now ;)

    The guitar player should be too far forward to see the bassist, trying to put him off. TSK!

    just cos i thought it was worth it, this guy is a legend and i've never heard of him.... anyone recognise anything he played or is it all just stuff he wrote or improv'd? and anyone who discovers anything similar to this cli feel free to post it!!! :D
