    I found a werid 1c dated 1941 in my pocket change. I was wondering how much it was worth?

    I know the 1943 ones are worth a lot but don't know about this one? I assume it's at least worth more then 1c? smile.gif

    Anyone point me to a price list?

    Can you give me some details of the coin ie. what president is on, any writing etc.
    I might be able to dig something up for u.

    Here is a site that has a lot of references and links to other sites.
    http://www.coin-gallery.com/

    Basically there is set price for coins of any age. It all depends on there condition, rarity, special feature, historical event or just what some1 is willing to pay for it. Here is a list of how coins are graded.

    I have seen a 1941 1c coin selling from $3 to $60 on various online sites aswell. The best thing to do is take it to a specialist dealer to evaluate it. No 1 can't accurately price it without seeing it.
    Hope this helps.

    heh heh, I was told to ask someone in work. Conversation was kind of like...

    M=Me
    T=Them

    M: I was told you know something about coins?
    T: Me? No I haven't a clue.
    M: Oh I found a "wheat penny"
    T: Wheat penny?
    M: yea it's got wheat on the back.
    T: So you can see everything fine on the penny?
    M: Oh yea
    T: and what year is it?
    M: 1941
    T: Has it got a letter on it under the date?
    M: Nope
    T: Ooh so it wasn't printed in Delaware or (can't remember name). Probably Philly.
    M: The prices for the penny range from $4 to $800.
    T: Oh you know about coins?
    M: Me? no just looked on the net.
    T: Do you have the coin in?
    M: Nope
    T: well bring it in on monday, although I don't really know anything about coins.

    Similar thing happened me with a gun when I was 10, I was in my grandfathers house running across the fields to a neighbours house when I find this old hand musket, I brought it in to show my well respected teacher, I should have smelled a rat when I seen his eyes quadruple in size and saying to me with a slight grin on his face "eh nice gun there Tom, Mind if I borrow it it you 10 year old stupid student of mine" No not at all master I'd only love you to borrow it and tell me about it, well 21 fu***ng years years later and I'm still wondering where's me freaking gun......

    But I'm not bitter.......

    Ah jaysus I off to the humour section to equlize myself!!!!

    It needs to be in really good condition, i.e. mint, to get a good price

    Too many freaks, not enough circuses.
