It was like their Tyrone performance all over again. To go over half an hour without scoring, having been 3 points up is terrible. It is not as if they did not have the chances either! Kerry are beatable. It still could be Mayo's year. God knows they are long over due it. I think above any county, Mayo want to win an All-Ireland. They will certainly give Kerry more of a game than Derry did. It was a poor and disappointing game, after a bright start.

It was a poor game. At times Kerry did show some great scoring capability but both goals were scrappy affairs. I'm glad that Derry didnt go through for their own sakes because they are a team that could get hammered at some point. Their fight is making them punch above their weight, but it did take a Kerry team which performed well to get well past them.

I think Kerry did quite good and will be favourites according to the bookies for the final, but Mayo should not fear them in any way.

I would rate their chances as being Kerry 60 and Mayo 40. Will it be the 33rd Sam for Kerry?

It could be, but hopefully not!

though it was a pretty crap game and what a woeful attendance for an all ireland semi final.

Typical of Kerry. Traditionally they don't travel to anything except the final.

A simi-final is not a big deal for Kerry people. They have been in 8 simis in 9 years. The munster final is always more interesting for them.

It's also a lot harder to get to Croker from Kerry than from anywhere else - we're not all Merc drivers y'know...

Kerry almost traditionally stay at home for Semi-finals. It was the last August weekend of the year, so a lot of people would be taking advantage of that. Today is a Bank Holiday in Northern Ireland so a lot of people would have had other plans for this weekend. As someone that was at the match, it was very disappointing. :(

Plus the fact that Derry have fuck all supporters.

There were plenty of them there the day they played Cork in the 1993 All-Ireland Final which they won.

Maybe they were some confused Tyrone supporters...
