buy refurbished laptops?

    hey all im looking to buy a cheap laptop, all i can really find is american and british dealers, im wondering if anyone has any suggestions on any dealers in ireland.

    Well two of the groups i would check out are:
    (1) www.dell.ie

    (2) www.elara.ie
    Elara have their own place on boards.ie so if you want to ask them anything specific head down to the shop section.

    If you do settle for a British dealer; i highly recommend www.rockdirect.com

    As you can buy a new budget laptop for well under a grand that will have a decent spec and a warranty. Its doesn't make any sense to buy a 2nd hand one unless its really really cheap. If you mean refurbished as in refurbished from the original manufacturer, then that might be ok.
