What you lot think of introducting guild dues to the beholders, in order to fund a new guild house?

Any suggestions on the amount, or if it should be done. Or we can each provide a percentage of the cost of a new house.

We can also introduce an entry fee to the guild.

You might want to be careful with the new housing changes coming in.

What amount are we looking at in fees? Also there are other issues? Is this on the job or what we make on our spare time?

Money is kind of relative. I mean if I can get someone with telekinis to come into Destard with me I can make serious cash picking chests for them (just not opening them ) Escorting makes cash too.

Also if I could get safe entry into the Orphs dungeon I could make some serious cash off the Balrons. I've only ever been able to make it there in and out safe once.

My last worry with the advent of gold actually having a real world value I wouldn't like to see our hard earn cash end up on ebay

Your a brave man going up to the ophid keep never mind stealing off a balron My theif has 50 magic so he can use tele on the chests no prob.Think I have about 10k between all my chars.My tank was my main money earner and with him red and dead Im pretty skint at the monent but I'll throw in what I have towards the house.

I got X eyond the fronter so I have been stuck in that more than in UO.If you liked elite you will love X.

Getting into the Orphid keep is a doddle for a Master Stealth/Bard.

I even bumped into oOo there one time, Boise checking my pouch out to see if I'm worth a PK and Hilda trying to run Orphs into me to get me killed (*****).

My only problem is that when you cross a server boundry you auto reveal so when you go down the steps to the lower levels unless the room above and below is empty your dead.

The Balron chests have some serious cash in them, although proberly harder now that they are trapped. If I picked them, and someone telekin them I could loot them and get out without the balron being a problem.

There is also another area which has serious amounts of cash, but has tons of Orphs and dragons and drakes. Unless your a stealther you'd want to go with a serious kick azz crew to get there.

There is also a "Smart Balron". I think it's called "The Collector of souls". It actually has proper AI. Last time I met it I had stealthed and looted a poor dead wizard. Notcing I was over burdend with all the junk I started sifting through it to see what I could drop (Greed kills). Another Balron appeared in the room across the way. Two balrons? I watched as the balron moved away from me, over to the door, opened the door, walked around the corner, opened the door to the room I was in, walked in, revealed me, killed me (looked in my general direction), looted me.

I just sat there stunned. I seriously think it was a GM taking the p1ss.

Is X a multiplayer? My local computer shop closed down for 6 weeks (redecorating). The nearest good computer shop is a train ride away. Best Buy is the nearst (across the street) but all thier stuff is old and sh1te.

X is one seriously cool game.It takes the best bits from elite and xwing.The trading element is spot on.Also there all sod all bugs in the uk release(tho patching to 1.9b is not a bad idea).And its the first single player game that has grabbed me the way UO did.
