CD and DVD drive help

I have a computer with seperate CD/DVD Rom and CDRW drives. However neither are working. They were just skipping tracks and deciding not to open most files gggrrrr but now they arent working at all. Error message comes up: E:\ is not accessable Disk structure is corrupted and unreadable This is happening with ALL discs now…

Error message comes up:

E:\ is not accessable
Disk structure is corrupted and unreadable

This is happening with ALL discs now any never happened before. I assume it is a hardware error but with both drives?? any ideas?

bin em. They are probably both dead, but test em in a second computer first, just to be certain. This happened to my CD-RW drive a few weeks ago.
