Possible virus [restricting downloads]?

    Ive tried to download various mods and other files this past week and not one was downloaded .
    If i remember correctly i think some months back there was a virus which caused one unable to download large files or maybe any files at all,i really cant remember.
    Small 5-10mb files seem to download fine but larger ones fail.
    Its not a disconnect issue either as i have checked that out along with network setting etc and all is at it was for the many months i have windows installed.

    Does anyone have a clue about this please chaps?

    Not sure whats causing it, but using a download resumer would stop you losing your downloads. If you get cut off, you can just resume from where you left off, losing only a few seconds each time.

    Thanks for that Mutant fruit,it seems to be downloading away.
    Ive just started a 200mb download so ill know more in the morning whenever my isdn downloads it.
