I put this PC together last weekend from a heap of spare parts and €100 worth of second hand parts. What do you think it'd be worth to a regular punter reading the buy and sell?

    AMD XP1600+ CPU
    Asus A7S333 board
Midi tower atx case with 300W psu
    512mb (1 stick) of PC2100 ddr ram - 2 slots free.
brand new IBM Deskstar 40GB 7200 rpm ide hard disk
MSI-branded nvidia Geforce 4 Ti4200 64MB (this served me well for 2 years!)
    12x NEC DVD-ROM
    coolermaster HSF
    onboard sound
    Linksys LNE-100TX network card
black IBM keyboard (think I'll hang on to this though in case my own one breaks, they're great)

    no monitor.

I'm in two minds as to what to do with it. I could hang on to it and it would be handy as an xvid encoder box/spare PC etc. It plays games like GTA Vice City and the like pretty well, but i wouldn't want to play doom3 on it - i.e. it could come in handy for the odd small time lan.

But on the other hand i could do with the money if its worth selling.

I'd say about €500 too. If you have, or can get, an CD writer I'd put that in too as it'll make it more appealing. Most people want to be able to write CDs on a PC these days. It shouldn't cost more than about €20 for a second hand one too.
