I've got one great big donkey partiton on my PB and I want to partition it (to install linux :p). How does one go about doing this so I don't have to do a clean install of OS X? Is there anything akin to partition magic for OS X or will the disk utility on OS X do the trick via bootable cd?

i'm assuming it's Yellow Dog Linux you're going to be using.

I've used that, it's quite good indeed :D ....as far as i know it's the best PPC port out there.

The partitioning tool that comes with it, although a bit archaic (command line) does the job very well. I didn't loose a bit of data at all

Cool :) Was thinking of gentoo meself but if yellowdog provides partitioning tools that are not the standard gnu partitioning tools I may just grab the isos of both!
