OK not sure if its the right forum im looking for a piece of software that will do the following

1: Convert tapes to mp3/wav's digital format

2: Be able to play mp3 or cd's AND be able to mess around with it like it was a mixer (change pitch, speed, treble/ bass i dont know the usual its not for me) and be able to plug this channel into a regular mixer so then this two can be mixed in with a record

Cost is not really an issue here so if a piece of software costs a bit then fire away and sorry if im not clear but its not for me

By the way it will be installed on a laptop, so will a line out on the soundcard be ok for this

There was a prog i used to use a while back, took a bit of setting up but it basically worked like a pair of decks only with looping etc. available. Was freeware too!!! Ministry of Sound used it a few times, i'll have a look n see if i can dig it out...
