2 wireless access points

    quick question, if i get 2 wireless access points can they communicate with each other and use each others devices!

    Im going to have 2 wired networks one on 2 floors now i need to find out if i get 2 wireless access points situated on each floor will be able to bridge the gap
    will that work rather than drilling holes in the celling and the like

    Yes you can get two AP's to talk to each other like that if they support WDS. The preformance will take a hit when you use a wireless device to comunicate with a device on the other side of the bridge. If its a home network it probably wont matter. You can also use an ethernet-wireless bridge to join them. Does the exact same thing except its not an accesspoint. To use WDS you need 2 AP's of the same brand/model that have WDS support.

    cheers for that, i kinda knew it was possible but didnt know what technology was required

    Is there any configuration involved or is it just Plug and play
