I like these shots but i'm not going to say why right away.
I want to see what people think of them first.

Also i'm not going to overload this thread with pics to try and keep this resonably 56k friendly. :D

I really like the Eiffel Tower shot. the way the sun shines out around the top, something nice about it.

When you're making a post, there's a button called "insert image".
Click on that and it will ask you for a URL for the picture you want to post.
So you need to have the picture hosted on some webspace.

Maybe it's just me, but there's something kinda comical about the stance of the Statue, a sort of puffed-out-chest look to her...

Both of them are very clean shots. P-shopped?

Ok, I'll bite, why do you like them?

    The moment of truth.

    Neither of them are real.
They are the replica's in Las Vegas. :D

    Photoshopping was minimal.
I just cropped them to hide background stuff that would give it away.
Like the statue of liberty had a roller coaster in the background, so i had to remove that. :D

Also, i had to bring the detail out in the eiffel tower as it was very dark due to the sun being directly behind it. So i lost some of the blueness of the sky, even though it's still very vivid.

I had figured out something was "up" with the photos. I initially thought they were models - especially the Statue of Liberty as it looked too new or something.

I to took a second look and I did;ent think the tower look 100% right (due to detail on it)
But let it pass anyway :)
