If you want to run more than one $kybox you need a quad LNB. Look at the image I have posted. If you have more questions ask!!!

    No.

You take the LNB on the existing dish and replace it with a new one and run a second cable from the dish to your desired location so both sitting room and bedroom can have Sky.

If you're adding the second subscription as a mirror subscription beware of the need to have both boxes connected to a phone line though - Sky are very pernikity (and justifiably so really) about this, they will check every month.

    Why 'justifiably so'?

Yes. Easier again as you don't need the phone line.

    Hi Doctor Nick!

Well, let's ignore for a moment whether Sky charge too much in general or too much for a mirror sub (I'd tend to go with "probably" and "yes, especially if it's a mirror of one of the lower packages"). Sky offer a second sub in the same house at a lower price and want to ensure that the second sub is in the same house rather than in the house of some guy across town who's halving the cost of the two packages with you because it's cheaper. I can understand their insisting on a phone connection for both to ensure they're both in the same house. I should have run with "understandbly so" really (& maybe added "IMHO" after).

    Snoop,

Replace your single LNB for a Dual or Quad (if your even getting Sky+ as this needs 2 cable inputs). Run 2 cables from the dish - 1 to your Irish box and 1 to your FTV box. DO NOT CONNECT THE PHONE LINE TO THE FTV (UK CARD) BOX.

    Thats it.
