    know what do i need?

    I have a samsung 193p, an xbox, a progressive scan external tv tuner box (u can use it to watch tv and connect a console to a lcd without using a pc) max res 1024*768 (native res of tft is 1280*1024)

    I also will have a silverstone htpc case and p4 pc in it with a leadtek wintv 2000 deluxe tv card.


    Basically i want to use my lcd as a tv, games console and pc display.

    The tv display using the external box is better than thro the tv card, i havent got my xbox yet to try it. My only gripe watching tv this way is that there is no pvr capabilities.

    So would my best option be to use the tv card, connect the console using s-video in and using dscaler or something? or should i use the external box for the console and use my pc for tv and general use?

    If so whats the best pvr software as i find the leadtek one carp?

    Also would it be beneficial to change my external box for one of the newer avermedia boxes which have 1280*1024 capability?

    Finally should i upgrade my tv card, are there (noticeably) better ones going, or are there monitors with composite inputs?
