Sky News Ireland Frequencies

Sky runs a rolling repeat of its Irish Sky News bulletin in the evening on the Syy Active service. Does anybody know the direct frequency used for transmission of this rolling repeat (as opposed to the Irish Sky News freq used to transmit the regular service with Irish ads and the two live Irish bulletins). Thanx

Dont know the frequency,but you cannot access any of the individual streams for Sky Active services directly from the transponder frequency.They are hidden channels.

Occassionaly if you store a test transmission for interactive streams before it becomes encrypted you may get to access it,as was the case for BB this year,but usually just a blue screen is displayed once the stream goes live,and then at this stage,if you have not previously stored it, you cannot tune it in at all.

you could try and install the frequency for Sky England in other channels.
Doubt if you would be able to access the active though
as I know the BBC interactive stuff doesn't work through the other channels.

I live in Belfast and have UK Sky News comes up on Channel 501 But Ive Irish Sky news set up on "other Channels"

When you tune it in youll see four or five versions of "Sky News" but it doesnt specify which is Ireland. You have to store them all figure out which is the right one and delete the others

This only gets the version of Sky News broadcast in Ireland on Sat & cable. It does not let you tune directy to the rolling repeat feed found on the Sky Active service.
