What do you all think of Age of Empires II?
I think it is brilliant!

Classic game but if only it was not so damn time consuming...

Also you reach a point where there is nothing else left to do but instead of saying to yourself that you are finished you keep on playing and playing for hours and hours never seeing anything new or different. It is a haunting game!

An awesome game but i want all those hours back!

Brilliant game. Vastly superior to that waste they called "Age of Mythology"... oh wait, there's an AoM poll as well... never mind.

luv this game getthe conquerors expansion and play castle blood online still great fun after all these years.

the conquerors is a great expansion on whats already a great game

i'm starting to get into c&c generals: zero hour now tho.. looks good since i havent playted any c&c games before

Drake grab yourself a copy of the origional Red Alert with the expansion packs ,'counter strike' and 'aftermath'. Their twice the game RA2 and Generals were, great single player, and the best LAN fun ever.

As for AoE2, it is a gift from the gods, get it and its expansion, and live happily ever after, that is all

I can't figure out how to get onto and work the online game on A0E2!
Can anyone help me?

I just have a few m8s who gather in IRC and join by IP at night, but alas our late night games are on hold due to school starting again. But next summer... next summer.....

Yes, but HOW do you play on the internet, I can't figure it out...

Usual method for normal play is using the zone (link to it in AoE2 in the game somewhere? should be on the main menu screen), but its a rather pap way to get games, as the last I checked noobness is rampant, as is general llamaness, link to the games played on it is here, AoE2 and conquerers is near the top:
