Ok ive looked all over the Web for good bundles but havent come across to much. So ive decided to build my own PC. Problem is that i dont know what parts i need in order for it to run and the best place to get them. I know i need, a motherboard, Chip, Hard Drive, Graphics Card and Ram, but unclear of which brand to buy of everyone one of these except the graphics card and what other parts ill need. I would like to incorporate a 6800GT or 6800 Ultra. Have a budget around 1200-1400, dont need a moniter or keyboard/mouse. Any help or links appreaciated

Hmm, if those prices are the same now as Loki posted back then i may need to adjust my Budget. I wouldnt need a 320GB HD though, 100GB is more than enough for me, but id want have at least 1GB of Ram.

    How about this?

That's 1200, add about another 100 for another 512mb stick of decent ram and about 50 euro for delivery and you have yourself a killer system under your budget.

The OS will be in german but if you install an English version of xp and use the cd key from the german one you will have a fully legal copy of xp.

Heh have mentioned that twice to me now bloodbath. Not to sure i want the 6800GT but rather the 6800 Ultra, thats why i didnt go for the system. And where would i get the English Version of XP? I cant download it, would i have to buy it? And does anyone here speak german? so they can translate the product description. Oh yea, and also would it be worth getting 2gb ram? Or should I just stick with the 1gb?

Crap I didn't know it was you.

Well you will find it very hard building a system of that quality and stay inside your budget especially if you want an ultra.

Most gt's overclock to ultra levels anyway so why not overclock it.

If you borrow someone's copy of xp you can use it to install it but use the german cd key. I'm sure you can find someone to borrow a copy from.

I don't speak german and I can read the system spec. All the parts are top notch except for the mobo and psu but it's a small loss for the price.

2 x 200gb samsung drives. Samsung are amongst the best drives.

A 6800gt, one of the best cards on the market atm.

A 3200+ a64, one of the best processors on the market atm.

    Dvd/r/rw/cd/r/rw

There is no need for 2gb's of RAM, it won't improve the performance of your machine much. It will also add about 200 euro onto your price.

Its very hard to beat that price for the spec. Especially when you take into account the XP licence........

Would definetly agree with bloodbath , to make use of over 1gb of Ram is a pretty hard thing to do nevermind 2gb....... its not a server your building :)
