    how come..if i leave a disc in the drive after ive turned it off then when i boot it up again it auto reads from the disc as soon as windows is up and running like its in the boot sequence or summat ..which it isnt as ive checked in the bios...i leave a game disc in ..forget about it...turn pc on next day and it tries to install the bloody thing again :(
    anybody know what i can do? it gets a bit annoying if im updating drivers and have to keep restarting... :confused:

    btw - to those who tried to help me in my 9800xt problem...well they wont swap it for a different model ..*******s im stuck with Asus foreeevvverrr...i so hope this one will overclock..i dont suppose they have brought out diff rev's of the board since feb..ones that actually overclock! :p ..if not vantec spectrum card here i come ..more noise :rolleyes:

    Once Windows finds an image in the drive it mounts it... Hence the auto run...

    It really is as simple as removing the disk before you restart, as most decent applications should tell you to do (though most, in reality, don't. I guess they presume common sense will prevail, but seemingly...)

    it doesnt in my laptop ..or my other rig just my main :confused:
