Hi all, just saw this on my soccer league's websight. It's the Leinster Senior League (www.lsl.ie), basically the amateur league directly below Eircom league so it's a good standard and hugely competitive!

Match Reports Required for League Games

    11th August '04

We are looking for budding journos to send in match reports for any Leinster Senior League games this season.

There are a number of rules, the report must be from a neutral point of view, not completely biased towards one side.

Report must include teams lineups and scorers for both teams.

Reports can be emailed to reports@beamsystems.ie as soon as possible after end of game.

I suppose they are just looking for journalistic types to go to local games and sumbit a report which will be posted on the official site. I'd imagine it's totally voluntary but I suppose those interested would gain good experience and could use posted match reports as example of writing skills in the future.

There are teams in the league EVERYWHERE! I can't imagine anyone in the Dublin area having to travel more than 5/10 mins on a Sunday to a game.

PM me if there's anything you want to know!
