Which dvd's do i use for a dvd recorder

    I'm just wondering do i use dvd-r or dvd+r for recording of the tv?

    Depends on what your DVD recorder takes. If it takes both - and + R I'd suggest -R cause there cheaper.

    If your player supports it you should use RW's as you can reuse them.

    Thanks man, does anyone know if you can record onto a dvd-r disc more than once i dont mean to re-write the disc, i want to record one hour of a show one week then come back and record another hour at a later stage, is this possible, im asking this cos you can only copy onto a cd-r disk once.

    You can write to -R and +R in several different sessions as long as you don't finalize the disk until all the recordings are done. The same applies to cd-r disks also.
