overclockers.co.uk/parcelforce delivery

I ordered over £600 worth of equipment from overclockers on the 8th of August. I got a shipment confirmation on the 9th with a tracking number and was shipped by Parcel Force. The tracking was going fine until it stated that the order was delivered to Jersey and signed for on firday (13th). I e-mailed overclockers on saturday, who told me to contact parcel force, which I did, they confirmed that the parcel was delivered to Jersey, and told me I would have to contact the sender. I then e-mailed overclockers again yesterday (16th) at 9:30, they wrote back to me at 12:15 saying they were having parcelforce look into it, I haven’t heard back since.
Needless to say I’m fairly pissed off at this stage.

Has anyone had similar problems to this, or can someone give me some advice as to what to do now?

    Thanks

Good luck is all I can say. OcUK are a poor excuse for a company. You can't contact them by phone and they only give you one-line useless e-mail replies.

I'm dealing with them myself, they gave me my refund after all (hurrah!) about 40 euros short. No doubt they'll stop replying to my e-mails now.

E-mail them again, if they don't reply within a few hours mail them *again* but cc spie@overclockers.co.uk (he's the managing director afaik) or manager@overclockers.co.uk

Do what Koneko said. Also get onto your credit card company and have them get your money back. Parcelforce is their problem not yours!

I ordered on the 18th, wanted to have it shipped next day to the UK. On the 20th I am told one part of the order is out of stock. Great now the people boating home from the UK on the 21st cannot bring me back the bits I ordered (about e1200's worth). Okay so I wait for it to come back in and switch the address to eire at 6.95 sterling extra. I wait until the 24th to be told that it is shipping then via parcelforce with tracking number EE**8742*12GB and it would be here on the 25th.

As of today the 28th it is apparently still in the local PF stoke depot, that is if they even shipped the goods. I am in the process of chewing every ass I can in OC because I am away from the 1-5th. I expect not to be charged for delivery and expect them to reship out my order on Monday as I told them parcelforce is their problem not mine.

Callan, don't take excuses mate e-mail that spie address and tell him you will be contacting your card issuer on Monday to get your money refunded and do it as well. They have not got a leg to stand on legally. Also tell him you will be contacting the local trading standards office. I will get the details for you and you can tell him as well that order [pm me for the details] will be doing likewise as well unless the goods arrive by Tuesday.

Contact the doors section of the sunday times as well. Mention the small claims court as well. If there are a number of people from boards who have had problems we could take a class action against them.

They will not get away with this level of sh1te service.

I'd say 80% of the time I deat with Overclockers I had no problems. But the last few times I had problems with delivery and I've pretty much stopped dealing with them now. Once or twice I had to do a return and it was like pulling teeth to get them to do it. It seemed to me like they just wanted to dodge the responsibility. Pity because they used to be great. The delivery and returns is woeful now though. Personally I get onto the credit card company and deal with them.

I've had only one bad experience with ocuk on my first order the tracker said the shipment £500 worth had not left the uk so instead of waiting around for a parcel that wouldn't arrive I headed off and did an extra shift in work.

When I returned my neighbour had the package in his house! The Parcelforce delivery agent left it on my doorstep! Thank god for honest neighbours!

I emailed a complaint about it but never got a response form ocuk.

Get onto your credit card company, they dont take ****, they'll just take your money back of OCUK and leave them to solve the problem.

Ah crap, and there's me just posting a thread asking what they're like for returns! :(

An Post used do it but I think the dreaded G L S do it now but I hope I'm wrong ! You know it won't be until AN Post go that we'll all realise how handy it was that the postman knew where to hide parcels or which neighbour would take it or whatever...

tis the dreaded GLS alright, but all is not lost. I had 4 seperate deliveries from them and they only half cocked up one. Sent it to the invoice rather than receiver address, don't think it was their fault though, as it was a back order whoever sent it out from ocuk put the wrong address on it. GLS were fairly cool about it, they left a note with the couriers mobile, I rang him and asked him to change it to my work address and it arrived the next day!

yeah I've heard some right horror stories about them alright, leaving kit worth thousands sitting on doorsteps of apartment blocks etc.., guess I was one of the lucky ones ;) . As to delivering to the neighbours, shouldn't be a problem, just 1:make sure your neighbour will definitely be home, and 2: STRESS, and I must stress this ;), STRESS this to overclockers. Their sales not to mention their support tend to be a little slow on the uptake, not to mention replying to mail. Generally reply to mine 2 days after the initial mail and then address me as Dear Madam? what the f...????, if my name was Alex or something it would be a little more understandable, are they trying to tell me something?

Same here, i been using em for about 3 years now, never had a problem.

Returned the first thing i ever got off em and had it returned within a month, replaced and an explanation as what went wrong. I spoke to a technician over the phone as well who wasnt the friendliest but he did answer my questions.

Ive never had a problem as you can see and am very happy to order from them. I think the delivery company are the problem which is of course their problem. I however ordered stuff a few months ago and had it within 2 days.

Some people have horror stories tho as you can read.
