I have an an7 motherboard (bios 16) and 2 seagate 160 sata hdd.

I have been trying to put these into raid0 for the last few days but when I try to install xp it gets as far as copying the files over to the partition and than restarting, but after it restarts I just get an error message boot.ini not found or ntosker.exe not found. during the installition I have loaded the sata drivers and have also created the raid array.
What am I doing wrong or what am I not doing?

I have also tryed raid1 but once I setup the raid array it wont boot into xp, it just shows the xp boot screen and then restarts.

Have you got a ZIP drive on your PC?
    If so - Disable it.
( Took me two bloody days to work that one out :( )
Just make sure the only place the boot.ini can go, and the only place your PC can look for it, is the raid array.

    I found this helpful.
