Anyone know anything about Noureddine Naybet?

I've never heard of him before Tottenham bought him.
A good buy, or just another sub?

He's a good defender - played with Deportivo for quite a while, 34 years old or so now, so pace might be gone, but he's a good player.

I'm happy his a good player... but I don't understand the reasoning behing buying a 34year old...
Then again, might be because we got him cheap, and hopefully we'll get a few years out of him!

We bought him for his experience and level head. He'll teach Ledley a few things, do him good. I think they'll from a great partnership.

Naybet looked good based on his 60 minutes today anyway, threw himself in front of a few shots, passed well, looked comfortable on the ball.

Edman on the other hand didn't seem to have a clue where he was.
