i dont know if this is the right place for this post, so mods, feel free to move it.

i was looking at the affordable housing scheme currently being offered by dun laoighre and was just wondering what kind of deposit you have to put down.

the info i saw on www.dlrcoco.ie just says there is a deposit payable on the homes...not how much it actually is.

has any one here bought a home under the scheme or does anyone know how much of a deposit you need?

Several thousand euros, but typically 5-10% of the (affordable) price.
