BitTorrent Problems

    Ive just got BitTorrent and im donwloading a number of files but they are all downloading very slow. The status light is always set on yellow?? ive outpost firewall and the settings on that are normal. My friend also has BitTorrent and it works fine on his pc. He has the same outpost as me and dsl connection but he gets a green light. Anybody have any ideas or anything i could try to fix it? My number of seeds are also very low becasue i made my freind download the same file to compare the two pcs and mine was very slow downloading and the number of seeds are also very low

    You need to use port forwarding. Check the Bit Torrent client settings for the port range its using (eg 6345 - 6350) and then set this range in the port forwarding section of your dsl modem.
