    Hello all,

first off i know this isn't a medical board, im just looking for people opinions.. now probably from my childhood years of hating to brush my teeth my front lower teeth are a little worse for wear now.. im just wondering would a dentist be able to strengthen teeth at all. they're perfectly straight and everything, they are just not strong at all. i know about brushing and flossing and mouthwash but i just have this paranoia that my teeth are close to falling out and i dont want that at all! has anyone ever had anything similar and been to a dentist for a resolution.. replies much appreciated ;)

they can give you some (sodium) fluoride which you mix with water and rinse your mouth out with twice daily or something, can strengthen the teeth

You can get a filling at the back of the front tooth to strenghten it. I had one done for an unknown reason but the dentist did it. I'm not sure why to be honest as i had no pain and to me it looked like there was nothing wrong with it. It seems to have made my tooth "thicker" if you know what i'm trying to say. I could feel the filling there cutting my tongue for a while but it's fine now. It's a white filling, cost 30 Euro under PRSI.
