There is a new external patch released recently. I dont know if you know or not

Yeah i think most are aware of it from the forums.It checks to see if the files have copied over successfully,and if they havent it copies straight from the cd to your HD.It didn't solve my problem though

The utility has been updated yesterday.

<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Folks, This new version of T2FAU (Tribes 2 First Aid Utility) is improved. Here are the improvements:

1) It accepts both the USA and the UK EULAs as legitimate files. (It was previously only accepting the USA version.)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

2) It will try to copy a file over in one piece. If it fails, on the next try, it will copy it over in 4Kbyte chunks under the assumption that something is wrong with the copying method. It alternates back and forth between these methods in an attempt to resolve the problem more quickly. If this alternate check fails 20 times in a row, it changes to using 1Kbyte chunks of the file instead. We've had much better success with this with customers and recommend that you use this new utility if you are having trouble still. </font>
