    What has worked for you?

I know this is not a medical board but because it is something so general, what is it that works for you? Currently am on that lemon drink...lemsip?

If you are in a bad way, go see the doctor.

Other than that, taking it easy and taking lots of fluids sounds like a sensible idea. I don't like taking any meds (even lemsip) unless I have to.

Stuff like that could be symptomatic of anything really, go see a doctor like the man said!

You should go and see a doctor if it continues for more than a day or so.... it might be an infection and you might need antibiotics or you may have glandular fever.Generally though regardless of whats actually wrong with you rest is the best thing for swollen glands!Ive learned this through bitter experience! Im sure you will be fine but for the benifit of anyone reading if you have swollen glands..even just one.. for longer than a 3 week period you should ALWAYS see a doctor and have some further investigation.

Correct, this isn't a medical board. The fact that you describe your symptoms to a precision as opposed to a something that is so general leads me to believe that you don't understand what my first sentence in this post means.

So just to re-forge your ideas on this philosophy I will lock the thread. And divert you to a doctor tomorrow morning.
