Thinking of selling my motherboard to get another. Just curious to know what the going rate would be....? :D

Absolutely perfect working order just doesn't seem to be compatable with Audigy2, which i bought the other day!, hence the reason for possibly selling it.

Just Divide its current price on Komplett by 2 and that would
    be pretty close.

You should get roughly €60 for it give or take. Does it have firewire and SATA?

To tell the truth i'm a bit confuesd by all the different A78Xs out there but mine defo has SATA :D

The A7N8X / A7N8X-X doesent have SATA connectors. The A7N8X deluxe generally does (or always does).

The Version 2.0 and above supports 400mhz FSB chips. The A7N8X-X also doesent support Dual DDR AFAIK, so all the little added on letters make a big difference ......... with ASUS anyway.

Dual channel DDR gives your pc a bit of a speed boost (3-5%) as it's more efficient. Think it's something to do with running your RAM at the same speed as the FSB...i'm sure someone will give a more detailed (or correct!!) answer.

The A7N8X basic and deluxe both support dual-channel ddr afaik.
At least mine does and its rev 1 of the a7n8x. Dont have SATA though or Raid, thats the deluxe board methinks.

i remember reading on anandtech that there is no speed improvement whilst using sata compared with ide?

The A7N8X-X doesent support Dual DDR (while the normal A7N8X does).

This basically means you pop in two of the same memory modules and you get increased memory performance (bandwidth) ..... only 2-5% so it means feck all TBH.

SATA v IDE , there is very very little performance increase....... only real advantage is neat cables and more future proof .
