file open pause in win2k3

    having a weird prob....

    just installed a server (win2k3 standard) on a 9 station network.

    The client machines all have shared drives to access the server. Was working find till yesterday when i installed NOD32 administrator on server and NOD32 client on client machines. Now when they open up word or excel files it takes up to 2 mins for the siles to open. Any word or excel pauses for about 60 sec when the go to the file menu.

    Tried uninstalling NOD of server and clients No good
    Disconnected Shared Drives - problem sorted - BUT - they need the shared drives to use old programs that are server dependent.....going crazy here....

    Any ideas ne1??? :confused:
