Anyone know who OCUK use for delivery when the package reaches Ireland? The parcelforce tracking page says its "with delivery agent - IRELAND" now. I'd like to be able to keep an eye out for the right one - having it delivered to work and there's lots of couriers in and out of here all the time.

    cheers.

    Parcel Force Worldwide.
Usually a plain white transit-type van like this:

GLS deliver ParcelForce packages in Ireland, well, at least they did when I made an order about 3 months ago.

The last two things I ordered off OCUK came through GLS, and I had to pick it up from them in Blanchardstown as they couldn't find my house and put down delivery attempts as no one in the premises. prats ¬_¬

does anyone know if you have to sign on delivery for the parcels? im awaiting a delivery and i wasnt here this morning and i fear the delivery van was here and away

Theoretically yes. £20stg that OCUK charged is for insured post which is supposed to have proof of delivery. I have never signed anything dealing with GLS. I live in South Dublin, I've heard that those outside leinster have to sign.

If you miss it then I think they try once more then leave a note saying that they missed you. Theres a number on the note you call to arrange pickup or attempt another delivery. I believe they charge extra for further attempts though.

They will normally give you a ring if the sender included your phone number on the package when they shipped it.

I live in Kilkenny, and any GLS stuff I've had from Komplett (this is my first OCUK order) in the past was delivered by a company called Wextrans, and they always required a signature. Even though they never update the tracking thing.
