    U:MACK present:

    THE BUG (LIVE) (Rephlex, Tigerbeat6)
    + SKKATTER
    Saturday 7th August
    The Shelter, Vicar Street
    Doors 11pm
Tickets 17 Euro (Road Records, Selectah, City Discs and on the door)

The Bug is Kevin Martin who makes crazy distorted ragga/dancehall/dub
music and has released stuff on a variety of labels including the
excellent "Pressure" album on Rephlex records, which starred such MCs as
Rootsman, Daddy Freddy and Tikiman. The Bug has also had a track remixed
by Aphex Twin and done a few remixes himself of DJ Vadim, Palace
    Brothers etc.

He played at the DEAF festival last year and according to Krossphader
who wrote a review of his gig for Anorak he was excellent!

Supporting The Bug is skkatter! He recently supported Volum, ADJ
and Dan Bell in Berlin and has played at around half the clubs in Dublin
so far (Bleep, Repeater, Electric City, Nylon, Loose Electrix, Backlash,
that house on Talbot Street) and will be playing a mix of evil robot electro,
techno and some hyper edited breaks (Tipper, Si Begg type stuff, check it
out I made up a new genre!).
