Heat 2 date/time/location

Can everyone post with the evenings they're free this month so we can get things organised as soon as possible?

I can't make fri/sat this weekend but shouldn't have a major problem with any other evening.

Don't think i've any major problems with dates this month. Would prefer it to be on in the afternoon rather than evening though. Anybody care to volunteer a location?

Can't do Saturday 14th afternoon (from 6 p.m. or so on would be fine), nor from the 20th to 23rd, any other time is fine by me.

I cant make that weekend at all but I should be able to get a swap if needs be. If you do pick a different weekend I do not mind hosting, but I am out in Firhouse so I do not know how that will sit with the rest of you.

2) Saturday the 21st or Sunday 22nd 5pm start at my place.

Settle down there youngsters... I have a tale to tell....
It was the BSOP Heat 1 last month, in Dev's place. We were battling away, winning hands, losing hands, whittling away the wheat from the chaff.
The next thing you know its down to 4 players. My good self, old Krusty, that young whippersnapper Karlh, and the old bad-beat-jukebox himself DeV.

I recall I was holding A2 in the big blind. DeV called on the button and I thought to myself "this tricksy old devil wouldn't be slowplaying now would he?" So I didn't raise and the flop came AKQ rainbow. I checked to DeV he bet and I didn't think he had an Ace so I raised all-in.
He scratched his chin and he hummed and hawwed, like a rabbit in a briar patch he was...
He called and I busted his pair of Kings. He was out on the bubble.

So when old DeV starts trashtalking just remind him of his time going out on the bubble, he'll shut his trap soon enough, mark my words....[/oldtimer]

Iceman has droped out of this heat I think, so we have 10 players, 3 spots as usual. Dev's heat only had 8 so technically had there been 10 players DeV would have got the bubble...

I seem to recall you getting through to the final when there was only *5* in your heat and I was in the Heat of Death (as usual!).

That stack was very difficult to play against, couldn't get a read on it at all. Especially when it slowplayed those Aces.
