This is only really a bargain if you rent a lot of DVDs from Xtra-Vision, but you can get a Philips DVD player for €79, along with €80 of free rental vouchers... It's probably a very average player, but if you would be spending that much on rentals in the next few months, you may as well get the DVD, which is, effectively, free.

Typically, the only problem with those vouchers is they're all either in E1 or E2 denominations, and you're only allowed you to use 1 at a time.

Unless Xtra Vision has one of their exclusives to see - wanna see that 'Wonderland' film - i wouldn't bother using them.

Girlfriend got a DVD Player a few months back from Xtra Vision with E50 worth of vouchers (but they allowed us to use 2 at a time - as they'd no E2 vouchers apparently)

Down here in Sligo - there's an Xtra Vision's store on one side of the road renting DVD's/Video's for E4.45 and across the road, there's a Chartbusters renting for E3.
