The Ferdinand might be busy on the other side of the world, but fear not, because they know that their UK and Irish work is not yet done.

    The October dates are:

    Dublin Olympia (12-13)
    Glasgow Barrowlands (15-16)
    Wolverhampton Civic Hall (17)
    Newcastle Northumbria University (19)
    Exeter University (20)
    Bradford St George's Hall (21)
    Portsmouth Guildhall (23)
    Leicester DeMontfort Hall (24)
    Manchester Apollo (25)
    London Brixton Academy (28-29)

Tickets go onsale at 9.30am on August 7.

For ticket availability, click here or call the NME Ticketline on 0870 1 663 663.

See this week’s NME, which is out tomorrow in London (August 3) and nationwide Wednesday (4) for an exclusive Franz Ferdinand interview from Australia, including more amazing revelations.

It's over 18s, but with theatres if you've someone over 18 with you you'll be ok. It's different from a club/bar licence.

yeah, you'll get in alright. ive been going there since i was 14 ,ok thats 10 years and ive never had any problems, and in recent years ive been bringing my little brother along, whose only just turned 18 now. the only place you might be asked for id is at the bars. both the ambassador and olympia operate like this unless specifically stated on the ticket that its an over 18s event and even then, theres usually no problem.

Says strictly 18s and over on Ticketmaster *shrug*

    Anyway, have my tickets, yay!
