    Hi,

I am posting this thread to let people post info about the next gig/concert they will be going to. This is mainly helpful for people who want to get more info on up-and-coming or just want to talk about the next event coming up.

Here is an example of one which I am going to soon (Hopefully ;) ):

    Event: The Frames
    Venue: Marlay Park
    Date: Saturday 21-AUG-2004
    Price: €42.50

It would be very helpfully if people could layout their post in the way above.

    Thanks,

    Youssef

The only two I have in mind are

TDK Cross Central Festival, August 27+28, Kings Cross, London : Hexstatic, Luke Vibert, Rahzel, DJ Krush, 2 Many DJ's, Cylob, Matthew Herbert, Plaid (with video by Bob), Scratch Perverts. There's loads more playing but that's all I'm really interested in. 45 quid for a 2 day ticket.

Amunition Launch Night, September 17th, Electrowerkz, London : Mu-ziq, Luke Vibert, Jega, Venetian Snares, Sh*tmat, Remarc, Leafcutter John, Gasman, Chevron, Datachi. 12 quid.

I might go to Electric Picnic as well.

Electric Picnic down in Laois on Saturday Sep 4th.

Acts I'm interested in seeing in order of preference:

    Groove Armada (live)
    Soulwax
    Super Furry Animals

Should be a savage day out what with paintball and stand-up comedy all thrown in for good measure!

    Roll on.

Yeah, am going to Green Day at The Ambassador next too.

    Cannot wait!

    Just over 3 weeks left!

    Green Day, Dublin Ambassador, 24/08
The White Stripes, Belfast Botanic Gardens, 25/08
The Icarus Line, Dublin Whelans, 04/09

I may catch The Roots and PJ Harvey when they play The Olympia aswell. I could decide to go to the Electric Picnic instead of The Icarus Line if the lineup gets better to my liking.

    Shame!

Just heard their new single and it's friggin' amazing!

Nothing too groundbreaking - but sticking to the good old Green Day formula.

Just a quick note - on the new album, there's a 9 minute song. Strange considering there's only a handful of Green Day songs over the 3 minute mark.

    :)

Your not paying attention, im arguing that its not visable.

Plus I don't see how saying baby constitutes as being horny. If it were the case, I'd have a near permanent boner.

    Baby.
