Breaking Ball

The news that RTE intend axing Breaking Ball right in the middle of the GAA season is ridiculous.
They have exclusive contract to gaelic games & between one weekend & another we are to have absolutely no coverage.
I felt that an increase from 30 mins to one hour would have been more justified.
Maybe TV3 could do something like Eircom League Weekly which is quite good but where would they get match footage from.
Another reason for the GAA to offer as an excuse when they deal with satellite company Setanta Sports perhaps?
With this attitude from RTE maybe rights should be given to a second tv crowd also like the Champions league in soccer.

They are axing it? I haven't heard. Strange, don't they have the BBX thing this year and now they are axing it? Strange indeed.
