Just wondering is there a similar offence on the books in Ireland to the UK charge of permitting a person to drive a car uninsured?
IE Can the Reg Owner be done for allowing someone to drive uninsured?

Not that I'm aware of. As far as I know the offence is committed by the person in charge of the car without their own insurance.
