Rough valuation of my PC?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this - I wasn't sure where to put it! I'm considering selling my PC, but not sure how much to charge for it. It's a Dell 8200. I'd be selling it to someone who wouldn't be able to build their own (hence the value gains of a "home-built" machine wouldn't apply). The specs are:

    P4 2.53Ghz
    512 MB RDRAM
    20GB Hard disk
    128MB ATi 9700 Pro
DVD/CD burner, and seperate CD drive
    17" CRT Monitor
    Integrated sound

How much should I offer to sell it for? Thanks in advance for any help :)

650-750 would be a fair price

the hard disk really lets it down.

I agree - I bought this PC 2 and half years ago or more now, and at the time it was bleeding edge..I really had to squeeze some things to get the CPU/RAM/GPU combo I wanted, and the I just really couldn't afford any more at the time. The question is, though: Would I profit from upgrading the HD before selling, or would the added value simply equal that of the cost of a bigger HD?

Thanks L5, for your valuation. I figure it's in that ballpark myself (maybe more on the high end i.e. 750 ;)), but if anyone disagrees, feel free to add your thoughts..
