Don't know if anyone on the board here is into him but he's playing the Douglas Hyde Gallery in October if you're interested - €12.

Greetings From Michigan was one of my favourite albums from last year so i'm really looking forward to this.

Excellent post, SteM - do you have any more details on this, particularly the date?

I've check entertainment.ie, sufjanstevens.com and douglas hyde gallery site to no avail.

Got this from the DHG yesterday. Don't know how many they place holds though....
    Dear All

Many thanks for your enquiry concerning Sufjan Stevens who will be playing
at The Douglas Hyde Gallery on Wednesday, 27th October. I am delighted to
confirm that tickets are now available for purchase at Euro 12 each. To
arrange your tickets, you can either drop into the Gallery here in Trinity
College (located at the Dawson Street entrance), or you can book over the
phone on 01-6081116 using your credit card. Tickets are limited so please
    book now to avoid disappointment!

Please note that Laura Veirs will be playing songs from her highly acclaimed
album "Carbon Glacier" at The Douglas Hyde Gallery on Tuesday, 17th August.
Tickets are also Euro 12 each.

Should you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact me.
We look forward to seeing you in October!

Well, based on the information you just gave me, I rang the DHG and booked two tickets.

With my two tickets I now hold an entire 2% of the entire seating capacity of the venue, according to the nice lady on the phone!!

Nice one!! Owe you for that!

So if you sat on her, you'd only take up 2 percent? Thats one big lady...

Must get some tickets. I have 2 of his albums and they're bloody good. Thanks for the post!

Sorry TmB, your post isn't as random as it looks, I went back in and edited my sorry sorry type before I noticed you'd replied.

That'll teach me to read before I submit. Typical newbie, eh?

Latest update: I've now booked flights back from Barcelona to catch this gig - see how you've gone and changed my month of October, SteM??

And the whole thing ties in nicely with DEAF too, which is sweet!

100 tickets?! This place must be pretty small! Looking forward to it too, I have to admit.

He's really good I must say but looking at the date I'll more than likely be away. Oh well, can't get to them all.
