    Hi all,

the girlfriend has told me of a new fad by the stars to lap dance their way to being fit. Appartently going up and down a pole gets you very fit!!
She is up for the idea (and so am I obviously) so any ideas at to whether there are lessons available anywhere in Dublin??

Apologies if I have posted in the wrong area but it is a fitness related issue, promise!!

    Cheers

In the UK you can get pole lessons from experienced dancers. Doubt it in Ireland. Now there are far easier ways of getting in shape and the danger here is if your gf has a talent for it and realises how much money she can make lapdancing then she might end up doing it 5 times a week.

Nice idea but the reality is not so practical or likely.

Actually, my girlfriend is starting up that business here in Ireland soon. Local first, then nationwaide, depending on demand. Should be advertised shortly. Not allowed to give any details, as that would be advertising on boards.ie and that's a big no-no.

I don't know of any lessons but I do know that Carmen Electra has a number of exercise videos that you could be interested in. "Fit to Strip", "Carmen Electra's Aerobic Striptease Vol 1-5", "Advanced Aerobic Striptease" and "Lapdance and Hip Hop". Amazon has loads of other things similar as well. There's also one called "Pole work". The cover of it makes it look like a cheap porno.

Paula in Honolulu looks like an expert! Paula in Honolulu

Nothing there about juggling that I could see, so are you thinking of taking it up as another passtime?

    ;)
