I vote for ACE, the cover is better than getcover for the little extra.

I used getcover for a ski trip recently , thought it was cheap ...

Anyone have any experience making claims from these insurance companies , Theres no point paying for cheap insurance if its gonna be a load of hassle to claim the insurance back ...

The reason i voted for ACE is that they do all our coporate cover at work, never had any trouble there, ill go check but i think the helpline number is even the same, people have used it numerous times no trouble, including getting english speaking doctors in the middle of the night in asia.

ACE are very cheap, but does anyone know if they do trips over 30 days?

Getcover are quoting me over €230 for a round the world trip of 49 days, and Trailfinders want €198.

    :(

If you're a VHI member their yearly travel insurance seems good value.
